On the area of 10.2 hectares covering the ground area of the station, the opening of which was held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva, a new park was built, landscaping and gardening was done, a sewage system for flood waters was built, water pipe was laid, and irrigation system was established. 34 seats were installed for the residents' rest, 120 lighting poles for the outdoor lighting system, and asphalt was laid.
10 kV substation provides the station with electricity.
It is the second station of Baku Metro with column-less platform. The total length of the station complex is 1548, and the total length of the station complex is 302 meters.  Information monitors are installed at the station's entrances. There are two underground passages and four entrance and exits to the station.
The station, built in the modern style, draws attention with its artistic and architectural design. The architectural traditions of Azerbaijan were considered in the design of the ornaments of the platform floor and road walls, and new drawings were brought to the national architectural school of metro construction, founded during the Soviet era.
The almond-shaped design of the sides of the station platform seats makes it even more marvelous. Imported from Ukraine, Turkey and India, natural marble and granite were used in the coating works at the station. The column-less arched passenger platform is illuminated by panels assembled with a German-made aesthetic hanging ceiling system.
A SOS alarm system in Baku Metro was first launched at this station. The video surveillance system, which fully covers the tunnels and stations and is transmitted directly to the server center, was first introduced here.
Three Tugela escalators, manufactured by "Thyssen Krupp", Germany, were installed at the station to get from the platform to the cashier's hall. The modern electronic interval clocks were first installed on this station's platform.

A fragment from Vasif Adigozelov’s “Baki” song is played on the trains arriving at the station.
